Getting the Best Results from your Appointment
HYDRATE your skin!
AVOID shaving, trimming, and depliatory creams at least 2-3 days prior to your appointment.
Limit caffeine and sugar the day of your session.
STOP HARSH TOPICAL SKIN TREATMENTS AT LEAST 2-3 DAYS (this includes exfoliation, salicylic acid, retinol) BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
AVOID SUN EXPOSURE always wear an SPF 30+
Who should avoid Electrolysis:
People with Cardiovascular disorders, circulatory disorders, anti-coagulant drugs, that are prescribed for these conditions, as they interfere with the effectiveness of the treatment and can cause clotting problems.
Is it OK to shave in between electrolysis appointments?
It's okay to shave between treatments, but never, ever tweeze! The hair you see is not all the hair you have. Hair grows in cycles. That's why it takes more than one appointment to permanently clear an area.
How many sessions can I expect to have ?
Because hair grows in 4-6 weekly cycles, and electrolysis is most effective on actively growing hairs that are still attached to the blood supply, you can expect to be getting electrolysis for at least 12-24 months
Why have electrolysis instead of Laser Hair Reduction?
Electrolysis can treat every hair colour. Including red, grey, white and dark hairs, whereas Laser cannot treat hair that is light, red, grey or blonde. Electrolysis is a fantastic option for those people who cannot have laser.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand life can get busy and things can come up last minute however cancellations and no-shows have an enormous impact on a small business.
If you fail to make your appointment at Pure Aesthetics please note we do have a cancellation policy.
72 hours before your appointment you will receive an email reminder, if this day and time no longer suits this is your chance to reschedule or make changes.
Less than 48 hours notice means you will pay 50% of your appointment value.
24 hours before your appointment you will receive a text reminder of your appointment for the next day. This is your final appointment confirmation.
If you cancel on the day of your appointment your cancellation fee will be 100% of the appointment value.
